- Sisterhood
For the past two hundred years, the Greek system has provided young college
men and women a “home away from home.” As sisters of Alpha Gamma
Alpha, we work towards common goals, and enjoy campus life together, forming
friendships that last for eternity.
- Leadership Opportunities
Alpha Gamma Alpha provides sisters with the opportunity to get involved with
leadership positions. Life skills, such as managing a budget, running an effective
meeting, action plan development, goal setting, and decision making, are aspects
of working together in the sorority. The skills acquired will come into use
in the real world.
- Community Service
A very rewarding aspect of sorority life is being involved in the community,
as well as organizing philanthropy events. Alpha Gamma Alpha believes that
working together for the greater community not only benefits worthy causes,
but also promotes personal growth and greater unity among sisters.
- Academics
Alpha Gamma Alpha believes that academics always come first. Our sisters come
from a variety of majors, which gives new sisters in the same major an opportunity
for advice. Grades and GPA are considered very important to our sorority,
thus sisters help sisters with their studies, while forming life-long bonds.
